10:00am – 1:00pm | FreeTogether on Earth Day we will rally to educate and raise awareness about our united responsibility to protect the global environment for current and future generations. As a nonpartisan group, we march to support science, because we value science and facts do matter. We will stand together against policies that silence, mischaracterize or restrict science. The writing has been on the wall for a while now that Apple would be relocating from their location next to Tiffany in downtown Walnut Creek to Broadway Plaza ever since we learned of a new building with glass walls that was proposed last year where California Pizza Kitchen, Starbucks, Tesla and Yogasmoga used to be. The Broadway Plaza directory now lists the Apple Store as a new addition so it’s official. Apple is relocating to Broadway Plaza in a brand new building! With Amazon opening in the fall I’m glad to see some tech focused stores opening here.
Note, you can actually see the current Apple store in the background of the above photo so they won’t be moving far.

Tonli Dumpling brings you classic Japanese street food. Authentic Japanese flavor thrives in dumplings, gyoza, ramen and Japanese curry. You’ll be saying Arigatō after you try Tonli Dumpling!
Although not as big as the Women’s March from earlier this year, there was plenty of honking and signs at the four corners of Mt. Diablo Blvd. and Main St. in downtown Walnut Creek this past Saturday as people participating in the Tax March demanded President Trump release his tax returns. Check out more photos of the march after the jump.

Last September we learned that Old Navy would be coming to Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek and they have now opened across from GAP. I believe this is the first time Old Navy has opened anywhere in Walnut Creek.
