Last month, we learned that the toy store Five Little Monkeys would be coming to Lafayette near La Fiesta Square, and they have now opened. They even have a Zoltar fortune-telling machine in front. Check out their online selection here.

Thanks to a reader for sending word that Five Little Monkeys will be coming to Lafayette where Cake Box used to be, right near La Fiesta Square, across from FedEx. I’ve been to their downtown Walnut Creek location many times so I know this will be a great addition to Lafayette. Check out their online selection here. This will be Lafayette’s second toy store; Learning Express Toys is located a few blocks away on Mt. Diablo Blvd.
Lafayette Mercantile
Bay Area-based Mighty Pilates is “opening soon” at the Lafayette Mercantile shopping center. This will be their fourth location and first in the East Bay. Find out more about the experience here.

Interesting to see something besides an eatery moving into the former American Kitchen spot as Kimberley Harrison Interiors takes over this prime Lafayette Circle location.

Although I don’t see a sign outside the entrance, the sign streetside shows that Bake N Take Pizzeria & Bar opened where Curry Blvd Indian Cuisine used to be, next to Kelly-Moore Paints in Lafayette. Check out their menu here.
Park Plaza Shops, Lafayette
In June we learned that Hollie’s Homegrown would be coming to Park Plaza Shops in Lafayette, and their signage is now up. Check out their online shop here.

The store also highlights other locally made and grown products that compliment Hollie’s items like one-of-a-kind textiles, artwork/photography by Lamorinda artists, local jewelry designers, hand crafted cutting boards to name a few!
In addition, Hollie has a wine tasting available where customers can sample the fine wines grown by her father, Louis Lucas.
