It’s sad news that after six years in business, Bel & Bunna’s Books has closed at Lafayette Clocktower. According to a Facebook post, they were, “two months behind in rent and have been served with a pay or quit notice from the landlords”. In addition to facing competition from Amazon, the COVID-19 pandemic likely made things even more challenging for the store. Despite this, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to shop there with my children over the years.

The interior boasts high ceilings and great lighting, creating a welcoming shopping experience. If you can’t make it to the physical store, be sure to check out their online shop by clicking here.
