Poke Salad ALSO coming to downtown Walnut Creek with T4

Last week it was finally confirmed that the boba cafe T4 would be coming to downtown Walnut Creek where The Candy Counter used to be but intriguingly as you can see in the above signage Poke Salad will also be opening here as well. Poke Salad opened late last year across from Todos Santos Plaza in Concord, which just so happens to be located next to another new T4 cafe. Check out their menu here.

Considering Oke Poke will also be opening in downtown Walnut Creek, it looks like we have two trends, boba + poke so having it in one spot sure is convenient for the trend-setters.

Spirit Halloween Coming to Plaza Escuela in Walnut Creek for Second Year

Black Angus Temporarily Closes in Pleasant Hill due to Electrical Fire

Thanks to everyone who emailed about Black Angus in Pleasant Hill. The website says:

We are temporarily closed due to an electrical fire. The restaurant will reopen as soon as possible after repairs are made.

Friday Question of the Day – Where do you Work?

I work from home but recently I’ve been driving or taking BART to San Francisco and other cities through the tunnel and can’t believe the traffic coming east bound in the afternoon. It really crawls even with the fourth bore. Where do you work? Is traffic or public transit becoming worse these days or is this typical?
