With the election coming down to the wire here in California the battle over the dozens of propositions up this cycle is becoming heated with commericals and ads plastered everywhere. I can’t turn on the televsion for more than a minute without one coming on. Ranging from the death penalty, guns, sex, marijuana and of course taxes, the complete list can be found here. Are there any propositions you are passionately for or against? I’m reading through the guide trying to understand them all but it’s slow going.

10:00am – 3:00pm | FreeThe Orinda library is hosting a Rad Tech Exploration Station on Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The interactive, science-based festival includes presenters, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. The event is free and open to library visitors of all ages.
Guest presenters include CUBIT, showing off their new CUBIT racer, Aerial Vue with outdoor drone demonstrations and CEO Ginger Kong of Miemode will introduce their virtual reality viewers.
Visitors will enjoy hands-on activities like easy-to-program rolling robots called Bee Bots, Cubelets, which show a fast and easy way to learn while building robots, and a green screen for interactive photo opportunities.“Technology is such a big part of our everyday lives,” said Orinda Community Library Manager Sierra Campagna. “The demonstrations and activities we have planned will help people experience new technologies and show kids what they can create with a little imagination.”
