Last November, we leaned that Melo’s, with several East Bay locations including Danville and Pleasant Hill, would be coming to downtown Walnut Creek where Bierhaus used to be, and they’re planning to open on September 18th. I was able to get a look inside and it looks really spacious and inviting. I look forward to dining there soon with my family! Check out their website here.

Flowers Salon opened recently where Vitality Bowls used to be in downtown Walnut Creek. According to this Insta post, the owner bought Insignia salon next door, which opened over 10 years ago. According to their website, they offer, extensions, Brazilian blowouts, keratin, Balayages, haircuts, waxing, makeup and more. Check out their available services and book here.

Great Clips, which opened almost 10 years ago at Rheem Valley Shopping Center in Moraga, has closed.

Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek
In June, we learned that Life Time preview center opened at Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek and according to their web page, they plan on opening September 22nd, across from Macy’s. As you can see in the above photo, they have a large sculpture right above the front entrance way. Note the LifeCafe to the right. Check out their menu here.

This spring, Zaya Thai Pantry opened in Danville at The Clocktower. Check out their menu here.
