HeyHey Mama is a Led Zeppelin tribute band fronted by 13 female vocalists all from the Bay Area. Notes4Hope is a local non-profit organization started by Breast Cancer Warrior Sandy Preto to raise money for Breast Cancer prevention. It is going to be a powerful night of great music and good times. The event is July 8th, Doors at 6:00, show at 7:00. It will likely sell out, so we recommend booking your tickets online at Notes4Hope.org or stopping in to buy paper tickets 1-7 on Thursday, Friday or Saturday at Up The Creek Records at 1840 Tice Valley Blvd in Walnut Creek. It is an all ages show, so feel free to bring the kids. Hear some great music at a fantastic local venue while raising money for a good cause. What could be better!

Almanac Renamed as Harvest in Danville

The farm to table restaurant Almanac which opened last year in Danville has recently been renamed to Harvest due to a trademark issue.

Sutter Health is announcing the opening of a Walk-In Care clinic in Walnut Creek, at the Orchards Shopping Center, 2878 Ygnacio Valley Rd. The clinic opened today and is a convenient addition for patients who need quality non-urgent care but can’t get to their doctor right away.

The clinic is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., with reduced hours on almost all major holidays, ensuring that patients can get same-day care close to where they live, work, shop or play.
o Because it is a stand-alone site and not located within a retail outlet, the Walk-in Care clinic is not dependent on a store’s hours of operation.
