You decide who plays the main character and where and when we will see them next. Her 50th birthday, her first crush, that time she got arrested…whatever you say! With that, we weave a spontaneous tapestry full of the joys and sorrows of the human condition. It’s an improvised romp through the life and times of the greatest hero ever born, a regular person just like you.

Running Time: approx. 2 hour 15 minutes, with one intermission

Capital One Cafe Opens in Walnut Creek

Capital One Cafe opened recently in downtown Walnut Creek where GAP used to be, next to the apple store and I dropped by to see how it compares to their San Francisco location. With a Peet’s cafe located inside (50% off drinks for Capital One card/account holders) and plenty of seating this is a great spot to socialize and get stuff done! The lighting is great, they have meeting rooms for non-profits as well as little semi-private rooms called nooks that are available to individuals. Check with an employee first before using a nook though. They even have a water-filling station available. With the ATMs you can pay your credit card there as well learn about financial services they offer. And don’t forget to walk out the back to check out the koi pond with gigantic koi fish, it’s amazing!

Makers Market Coming to Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek

Home Invasion Robbery in Walnut Creek this Morning

From the Walnut Creek PD:

On 7/17/2017, at 8:50 AM, two males brandishing handguns, entered a home on the 2800 block of Oak Grove Road. The suspects confronted the residents (a husband and wife and their child) and stole a yet to be determined amount of cash and personal property. The suspects fled on foot southbound toward Cedro Lane. A tan or gold mini-van (possibly a Ho nda Odyssey) was seen fleeing the area at the time but has not yet been positively identified as being associated to the suspects. No one was injured.

WCPD Officers arrived on scene within minutes of the crime being reported but the suspects were not located. A Pleasant Hill Police Department K-9 unit assisted in conducting a track with negative results.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspects in this crime or who can provide additional information is asked to contact Detective Bill Jeha at 925-256-3518 or Sergeant David Rangel at 925-256-3573.

Update – Limon Rotisserie Opening July 21st in Downtown Walnut Creek

Saje Natural Wellness Coming to Broadway Plaza this Fall

A couple of months ago we learned that Canadian skincare company Saje Natural Wellness would be coming to Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek and according to the temporary signage now up they will be opening sometime in the fall where Michael Stars used to be. In addition to three other Bay Area locations in San Francisco, Santa Clara and Corte Madera in Marin, another store will be opening on Fourth Street in Berkeley.
