Thanks to a reader for sending word that the all you can eat restaurant Gen Korean BBQ is coming to Concord where the old Sizzler restaurant used to be on Willow Pass Rd. Check out their menu here and Concord Facebook page here. With Ohgane open nearby earlier this year, looks like Concord is becoming a prime destination for Korean BBQ.

1385 N. Main St, Walnut Creek
We’ve been following the progress of the boba/poke restaurant T4 & Poke opening in downtown Walnut Creek and it looks like they will be opening very soon. Check out the latest updates on their Facebook page here. Poke Salad started in Concord across from Todos Santos Plaza with T4 recently opening a couple of stores down by the same owner. Check out the Poke Salad menu here and T4 menu here. The teardrop lighting in the Walnut Creek restaurant is a nice touch!

Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek
Thanks to a reader for pointing out this Napa Valley Register article stating that the Napa-based fast casual restaurant Heritage Eats is coming to Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek. Check out their menu here and find about the Heritage Eats story here. This looks to be opening next to Boudin Bakery. Stay tuned…
Considering how crowded True Food Kitchen is all the time I’m not surprised another restaurant is opening here.
