Thanks to a reader for sending word that Starbucks has closed at La Fiesta Square in Lafayette. According to this SF Gate article, it looks like a couple of cafes in Walnut Creek are also closing.

The Veranda, Concord
Espetus Brazilian Steak House opened last year at The Veranda in Concord, replacing Texas de Brazil. I dropped by the other day and it looked like a great place to watch the World Cup on the outdoor patio with a giant TV showing the final match. Check out their menu here.

Moraga Shopping Center
Thanks to a reader for sending word that Wayside Social is coming to Moraga Shopping Center where La Finestra Ristorante used to be. As seen in the sign below, in addition to burgers, fries, shakes, soft serve and alcohol, there will also be an arcade which should be exciting! Check for updates on their Insta here.
