Howard’s Shoes for Children has closed in Broadway Plaza although according to a note in the window (see below), they are “currently looking for another location in downtown Walnut Creek”. Their Palo Alto and Cupertino locations are still open.

Back in November I noted that southern California-based Veggie Grill may be opening in downtown Walnut Creek and it looks like this is definitely happening based on a public notice posted in the window and the site plan which you can see below. Note how the space previously occupied by the Nail Shop is still available for lease. I would have thought that Veggie Grill would have taken over that as well for more seating but looks like that’s not the case. Check out the Veggie Grill menu here.

Brookstone has closed in Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek. According to a sign in the window the closest location is in the Sunvalley mall in Concord.

At this free member’s only course, garden director Troy McGregor will demonstrate how they are made. Learn how to create a single workstation that’s perfect for your home garden. Using recycled materials, we will create a demonstration table that will be raffled off at the end of the class. Raffle tickets will sold for $5 each.
Naracamicie opened their Walnut Creek location in May of last year but due to the pending Broadway Plaza redevelopment, they have now closed however you can still check them out in San Francisco at 352 Sutter St. Check out their website here.
