The true story of the princess who fell asleep comes to life before your eyes as the audience tries to save Sleeping Beauty from the spinning wheel. Where is her true Prince to awaken her with her kiss?
Spotted near the Walnut Creek-Pleasant Hill border.
Now that the weather has cleared up and is getting warmer out brunch has been on my mind lately. My usual routine is to fire up the waffle maker on Sunday mornings with some freshly squeezed orange juice and a big pot of loose tea but it would be nice to go out for a yummy brunch somewhere nearby. Pizza Antica has started offering brunch recently and there are plenty of other eateries as well. So for today’s question, what is your favorite place for brunch?

The writing was on the wall for a long time and now the backside of Broadway Plaza is closed. It was pretty cool strolling back there with empty stores but now that’s it’s closed I guess we’ll have to wait until 2017 before this section reopens. Check out the Boradway Plaza Redevelopment FAQ here.

Last month I noted that the spa Metamorphosis had closed in the Mercer apartment complex in downtown Walnut Creek and now Texas based Beal Bank is planning to open a branch here pending approval by the Walnut Creek Design Commission.
