Panda Express is opening soon in Concord in the newish development that replaced the old Peppermill restaurant on Concord Ave. Check out their menu here.
Last month someone was shot and killed in downtown Walnut Creek late at night after bars such as Crogan’s and Redux were closing. Last night the Planning Commission met to determine whether to “modify or revoke the establishment’s [Crogan’s] “deemed approved” status, which may affect the establishment’s ability to operate and to sell and serve alcoholic beverages.”
Do you think downtown Walnut Creek is becoming more dangerous as it becomes more urban? One reader asks, “Is Crogan’s going to Survive?” Can anything be done to make downtown safer while still maintaining a lively nightlife?
