In June, we learned that Life Time preview center opened at Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek and according to their web page, they plan on opening September 22nd, across from Macy’s. As you can see in the above photo, they have a large sculpture right above the front entrance way. Note the LifeCafe to the right. Check out their menu here.

Last November, we learned that the jewelry shop Brilliant Earth would be coming to Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, and their signage is now up and it looks like they’ll be opening some time this week. Check out their Walnut Creek page to book an appointment here.

Several years ago, we learned that Janie and Jack would be closing at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek due to the bankruptcy of its owner Gymboree, but they ultimately remained open thanks to GAP buying Janie and Jack shortly thereafter. However, Janie and Jack has now permanently closed their Broadway Plaza location. Check out their online selection here.

Cars haven’t been allowed on the main street at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek for a while now, but recently they opened back up and as seen in the above photo, cars may freely pass. I wonder what it would be like had condos opened here with the street closed to traffic? Better or worse?
