Design Dash – Progressive Shop Tour:

Your three favorite shops in the east bay are joining forces this weekend. We are hosting demos, doing fun giveaways and making magic happen in our studios!

The Spotted Cow is open on Saturday, April 25 from 10:00am – 5:00pm, and our friends at Elsie Green House and Home and Room With A Past: Home Decor, Antiques, Whimsy will also be open. There will be fun events and giveaways in store all day, and special hands-on demos at the following times —

Floral Design Workshop – 1:00-1:45 at Elsie Green
Vignette How-To Workshop – 2:30 – 3:00 pm at Room With a Past
Painting 101 with Clay/Chalk Paint – 3:30 – 4:15 at The Spotted Cow

Visit all three stores, get your “Design Dash” passport stamped, and you’ll be entered to win a fabulous gift certificate package from all three stores!! Note: RSVPs for the demos are NOT required.

Run for the Health of It – Esophageal Cancer Awareness 5K Run/Walk:

Make your steps count.  Help raise awareness for esophageal cancer!  Come join us for an early spring run and spend a fun morning promoting health and raising awareness about this curable disease.

According to the National Cancer Institute over 18,000 people are diagnosed with esophageal cancer annually and the incidence is increasing.  The most common type of esophageal cancer can be linked to issues such as cronic heartburn.  Learn how to decrease risk through diet, exercise and more!

The Honorable Ellen Tauscher – espophageal cancer survivor – four years disease free – will serve as our honorary chair.

Course~
5K Run through beautiful Heather Farms Park.

Fees Include~
Custom t-shirt and post race refershments.
