This week NBC Bay Area reported that a clown tried to grab a baby at a Concord bus stop. Evil clown sighting have been reported throughout the country. Yet when I was growing up it wasn’t strange to have clowns at birthday parties. I remember enjoying walloping a Bozo the Clown punching bag every now and then and looked forward to circus visits with clowns galore.
Now it seems like everyone is afraid of clowns. Are you afraid of clowns?

Friday, October 7th – Sunday, October 30th, 2016The Fantasticks is a timeless, romantic tale of a boy, a girl, and their fathers’ schemes to get the two married. The ravishingly beautiful songs sparkle with wit, and there’s plenty of comedy from the actors hired by the fathers to push along their schemes. The world’s longest-running musical, The Fantasticks has run for over 50 years, entrancing generations of audiences the world over. The famous score, including classics “Try To Remember,” “They Were You,” and “Soon It’s Gonna Rain,” is as timeless as the story itself.
Running Time: approx. 2 hours, with one intermission

They were supposed to begin charging September 12th but it’s still free to park. According to a text message from Broadway Plaza, they, “do not have a set date for when [they] will be adding the parking charge”.
