Back in May of last year we got a preview of the new apartment complex at 1500 N. California Blvd. in downtown Walnut Creek across from McCovey’s and it looks like demolition will happen soon as green fencing has gone up around the parking lot next to Scott Valley Bank which has been closed for a while.
Lottie’s Creamery has been selling brownie ice cream sandwiches for a while now at the Concord farmers market at Todos Santos Plaza on Thursdays and now they are also available at the Locust St. Walnut Creek farmers market on Sundays. Check out the varied selection below, most of which are not even available at their N. Main St. location in downtown Walnut Creek. Check out their Facebook page here.

Crazy in Suburbia recently pointed out that Century Theatres in downtown Walnut Creek will soon begin serving wine and beer. A manager I spoke with believes the new wine bar will open next year and may be similar to the one in Napa. Has anyone drank wine in a movie theater? This will be a new experience for me.
From the 2012 Napa theater press release:
With the opening of the new Century Napa Valley and XD Theatre, Cinemark proudly introduces the CineVino Wine Bar, with a luxurious lounge, serving locally produced wines and beers. Favorites such as Trinchero Family Estates, Francis Ford Coppola Wineries, Lagunitas Brewing Company, and the Napa Smith Brewery will be featured at the CineVino Wine Bar, complemented by small plate food selections which will pair nicely with the drink offerings.

Check out their menu below and photos of the inside after the jump. Has anyone had a chance to try this out? How are the burgers and shakes?
