Spotted a few of these right near Todos Santos Plaza in Concord. I have no idea what they are, anyone know?

1950 Grant St, Concord
Tower Grille closed a while ago across from Todos Santos Plaza in Concord and a new restaurant called Parkside Bar & Grill will be opening here. Stay tuned…
The Veranda, Concord
Last month the giant entertainment center Dave & Buster’s opened in the Veranda shopping center where Toys “R” Us used to be. It’s very similar to Round 1 in the Sunvalley mall, also in Concord. The dining section is much bigger, there are pool tables but no ping pong nor karaoke rooms. I noticed they have a VR section with chairs that move in rhythm to the experiences which looks interesting. Bring your eag plugs because it’s loud, just like Round 1. And good luck with parking! One time I had to park on the street due to the parking situation.
Park & Shop, Concord
Spirit Halloween opened at the Park & Shop center in Concord where Burlington Coat Factory used to be. Check out their online selection here.
The Shops at Todos Santos, Concord
Yesterday we learned that BurgerIM opened at The Shops at Todos Santos in Concord and Fire Wings opened as well, right next door. Check out their menu here. There is a wraparound patio out front and to the side, with plenty of outdoor seating.
2250 Monument Blvd, Concord
Thanks to a reader for emailing that Cardenas opened in a former Safeway supermarket in Concord. This was my first time visiting a Cardenas and found it very spacious with lots of Hispanic foods available. Check out their weekly ad here. They have a cafe where I tried a coctel de frutas which was reasonably priced and delicious! The baked goods were great as well. Be sure to check this place out if you’re in the area.
More photos of the inside after the jump…
The Veranda, Concord
Last week we learned that a new Brazilian steakhouse, Texas de Brasil, will be coming to the Veranda shopping center in Concord and another restaurant called Doppio Zero will be opening there as well. Check out their San Francisco menu here.
From their website:
Welcome to Doppio Zero, where you’ll find comfort, conversation, and the best Neapolitan pizza and Southern Italian cuisine Mountain View, Cupertino, and San Francisco has to offer.
Enjoy the taste of fresh, top-notch ingredients brought together in traditional Campania recipes, from polipetti pulled straight from the Mediterranean Sea to pizzas pulled from our wood-fired oven.
If you’re looking for pizza that is 100% autentica, Doppio Zero is the best you’ll find outside of Naples.
The Veranda, Concord
Thanks to a reader for pointing out that another Brazilian steakhouse is coming to Concord, this time to The Veranda. It’s called Texas de Brazil and their menu is here. Note the above photo is not necessarily the actual restaurant location.
From their website:
Texas de Brazil began with a dream in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Enjoying the rancher’s life and feasting in the rodizio style native to the region, one of our partners had visions of bringing churrasco culture north to the United States. He wanted to share this unique way of dining where guests indulge in a parade of meats and extravagant seasonal salad area.
The destination for this restaurant was none other than cattle country…Texas. After all, the traditional steakhouse of Brazil blends perfectly with the service and class of the Lone Star State.
Clayton Valley Shopping Center, Concord
Thanks to a reader for pointing out that Panera Bread opened recently at the Clayton Valley shopping center in Concord. Check out their menu here.
