Suspect Jason Pedroza
From a Walnut Creek police press release:
Several months ago the Pleasant Hill Police Department began a criminal investigation involving an adult male engaging in unlawful sexual conduct with juvenile female victims. After a comprehensive investigation, Detectives with the Pleasant Hill Police Department obtained a felony complaint against suspect Jason Pedroza. Some of Pedroza’s crimes are alleged to have occurred in Walnut Creek.
Until recently Pedroza was an actor with the Center Repertory Company at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. Since 2009 Pedroza has held several other positions during productions at the Lesher Center such as Flight Captain and Usher Coordinator. Pedroza also worked at a ballet school on North Main Street in Walnut Creek.
Based on information obtained during this criminal investigation the Walnut Creek Police Department is asking any parents of minor children that may have had contact with Pedroza to talk with their children. If any inappropriate contact is suspected we ask that parents contact the Walnut Creek Police Department at (925) 943-5881.
