Reports about the CHP officer who was shot this morning during a traffic stop indicate he is critically wounded at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. Word on the street from people who would know indicate he’s on life support and is not expected to make it. Thoughts and prayers go out to the officer and his family. I hope this turns out not to be true and he pulls through.
