On 9/14/13 at approximately 4:33pm, WCPD received several calls of shots fired on the 1700 block of Third Avenue. Through witness interviews, it appears a vehicle being driven westbound on Third Avenue fired several rounds out the vehicle’s window. It does not appear a specific person was targeted and two homes were struck by bullets. The suspect vehicle was described as a white sedan, similar to a Toyota Camry.
The suspect driver was described as a middle aged white male, blonde hair, tan t shirt and wearing sunglasses. No further description.
No one was struck or injured in the incident. WCPD is encouraging any witnesses to call us at (925) 943-5844.
