The pastry shop Miette opened recently at City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon. After savoring a scrumptious Dulce de Leche macaron, I found myself at Salt & Straw’s doorstep next door, where the sweet, sweet ice cream flavors proved too tempting to resist. As a result, I ended up indulging in a kid’s scoop after lunch. Check out Miette’s online selection here. I’ll be back for more macarons next time.

Over two years ago, we learned that Sprinkles would be coming to City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon and they have now opened. Check out their menu here. I tried the dark chocolate cupcake and it was quite decadent. Very rich.

Dumpling Time has a playful menu by having colorful dumpling-skin options made with beet reductions or spinach. Those who are not feeling pan-fried gyoza, will be offered our daily noodle option. Dumpling Time also offers ten local draft beers, bottled beers, along with wine as well.
