1628 N. Main St, Walnut Creek
Str8 Edge Barber Shop is relocating June 1st from their hidden downtown Walnut Creek spot on Locust St. to the former LaserAway location on N. Main St. Check out their Facebook page here. Late last year LaserAway relocated around the corner to the Lyric complex.
Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek

Stem Salon, located on Locust St. in downtown Walnut Creek, is relocating next month to a spacious corner spot at the corner of Bonanza St. and N. California Blvd. in the Lyric apartment complex a few blocks away.

Last year we learned that Beauty Lounge in downtown Walnut Creek would be getting a wine bar and this is expected to open by the beginning of May. Their Palos Verdes location has had a wine bar for seven years. In addition to wine and beer they also plan to offer martini cocktails made with soju sake. Salon Hanover has been open for a few months since December in downtown Walnut Creek right near the Porcelanosa Kitchen Bath showroom. Check out their services here.
Downtown Pleasant Hill Shopping Center
Over the weekend Colorado-based spavia opened their first spa in the Downtown Pleasant Hill shopping center. Check out the Pleasant Hill services including pricing here. In addition to per-treatment payment options they also various memberships for with better pricing here. I checked out the inside and they have nice women’s (and men’s) rest lounges offering tea and heated neck towels. Showers are available as well. Looks very relaxing! The owners have plenty of spa experience and were very nice and welcoming. Check it out if you’re in the area.
