Last week we learned about a new food hall planned for downtown Walnut Creek across from the Century Movie Theater called The Foundry, and now that the planning commission meeting is over check out the renderings of what it’s going to look like. In addition to multiple buildings featuring close to 10,000 square feet of dining space, there will be a patio in back as well as a rooftop dining area. You can even spot a koi pond in back which makes sense considering the developer is responsible for the secret koi pond behind Va de Vi around the corner.
With condo developments sprouting left and right in downtown Walnut Creek I’m glad the developer chose to put a food hall instead and look forward to seeing what kinds of cuisine will be available.
