Thanks to a reader for pointing out that GODIVA, which opened over four years ago at Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, is closing by Valentine’s Day, along with all other physical locations in North America. I’ll miss their soft-serve ice cream. 🍦

Over three years ago the online thrift store ThredUp opened at Broadway Pointe in downtown Walnut Creek. Less than a year later, they relocated a few blocks away to a smaller spot on N. Main. A couple of years ago we learned that Joe & the Juice would be coming to downtown Walnut Creek where D. Delucchi Fine Jewelry used to be, and although that doesn’t look that’s going to happen, the new building looks like it’s going to be a nice addition to downtown. I wonder what’s going to open there?
