Late to the party as they opened last year, but Bill & Bali’s Pizza & Pints opened where Tonli Kitchen used to be in Walnut Creek, right across from the Pleasant Hill BART station. Check out their online menu here.

Last month, we learned that shoe and bag brand Rothy’s would be coming to Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, and they have now opened. Their sustainable products are made from recycled bottles, natural hemp, merino wool and ocean-bound marine plastic. Check out their online selection here.

In April, we learned that Terra Outdoor Living would be relocating within Walnut Creek where Pier 1 Imports used to be, and they have now opened. Check out their online selection here. The expansive interior truly showcases the outdoor furniture beautifully. I was particularly impressed by the generous size of the shades they offer—humongous!

As I was doing my usual stroll in downtown Walnut Creek on Locust Street, I noticed people looking down Bonanza Street taking pictures and I was confused; what could be so special going on down there? Well, there just so happened to be an amazing rainbow! A few blocks away, I grabbed this shot from the Broadway Plaza parking garage. Did anyone else have a chance to see this rainbow on Friday?
