Late last year we learned that Starbucks would be expanding where Consignit Couture used to be on Hartz Ave. in Danville to become a Starbucks Reserve and the original location is now closed as the two spots are combined. Find out more about the Starbucks Reserve concept here.

A couple of years ago Sweetwater Tavern opened on Hartz Ave. in Danville where Danville Station Firehouse Bar & Grill used to be and now, according to a recent California ABC pending permit Kick N Mule, a Sacramento-based sports bar is planning on opening in this spot, although the sale hasn’t been finalized yet according to a Sweetwater employee. Hawaiian Wow Wow Lemonade, which we learned would be coming to Danville Livery in October, is getting closer to oepning with their signage now up. According to a New Year’s post on their Instagram page they “promise to be open soon!”. Learn more about their handcrafted lemonade here.

The stationery and crafting store Live Happy Paper Craft, which opened a little over a year ago on Hartz Ave. in Danville, is closing January 27th. They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday and over the weekend everything was 45% off. Contrast with almost every other store offering “up to” X% off” and one should give them kudos them for their straight-up sale!
