Golden Gate Audubon Society Centennial Art Exhibit:

Lindsay Wildlife Experience
1931 First Ave, Walnut Creek
Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 – Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018

The Golden Gate Audubon Society is celebrating its centennial with a traveling art exhibit ending its run at Lindsay Wildlife Experience Oct. 3 through Jan. 2, 2018.

The exhibit on “100 years of Protecting Bay Area Birds” has been on view at four other Bay Area locations throughout 2017 but will come to Lindsay for its final exhibit and special reception for East Bay birders.

The Golden Gate Audubon exhibit features stunning photos of Bay Area birds, from tiny Chestnut-backed Chickadees to powerful Golden Eagles. The expansive exhibit will be featured in both the upstairs in Lindsay’s Buckeye Room as well as in the larger hall on Lindsay’s lower level in the Manzanita Room.

Golden Gate Audubon Society is one of the oldest conservation organization in the Bay Area and was founded in 1917 by former students of UC Berkeley ornithology professor Harold Bryant. Today GGAS has more than 7,000 members in San Francisco and the East Bay. Lindsay Wildlife is proud to partner with this incredible organization and celebrate its 100 birthday!
