Frogs, Toads and Salamanders:

Summit Museum Mount Diablo State Park
1250 North Gate Rd., Walnut Creek
Sunday, January 19th, 2014
10:30am – 2:00pm | Free

Very cool wet winters and very hot dry summers describe the basic climate of Mt Diablo. What kind of local amphibians survive these conditions? Where do they hide? What do they eat? How do they survive the heat? And when do they breed? These and many other questions will be answered by Naturalist Michael Marchiano. Meet a salamander up close. The presentation will be from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM in the Audio Visual Room at the Summit.
