Apparently the increase in violence at downtown Walnut Creek has forced the Walnut Creek police to stop issuing full liquor licenses. According to KGO-TV there was another bar fight last Sunday where a fight had to be broken up downtown, and aggravated assaults and DUIs have increased 16% and 21% from the previous year.
So are the Walnut Creek police taking proper precautions to protect the community or is this going too far?
