CREAM Opening March 5th in Concord

Earlier this month we saw progress on the ice cream shop CREAM in Concord near Todos Santos Park and they will be having a grand opening this Saturday, March 5th according to their Facebook page here. Also known as Cookies Rule Everything Around Me, CREAM is known for their ice cream sandwiches but also offer ice cream, cookies, brownies, milkshakes, ice cream tacos and more. Anyway, do you plan on visiting Dunkin’ Donuts when they open by this summer and if so, what are you most looking forward to, the donuts or the coffee?

Our Western Lecture Series begins on February 27 with a presentation; ‘The U.S. Cavalry in the West: Cutting Through the Mythology’, about the history of the United States Cavalry by Frederick Klink. An avid horseman who competes in Three-Day Eventing, Fred comes from a family of military horsemen. His grandfather was a cavalry officer and his father served as a warrant officer of artillery, initially with a horse-drawn regiment. Fred has made an extensive study of the history of the US Cavalry and has been a member of the US Cavalry Association since 1986, and has been a member of their Board of Directors and Vice President since the mid-90s.
