Thanks to a reader for sending word and photo that Bentley’s Container Bar is having a grand opening in Martinez on July 28th, according to their Insta, “located in the Back Patio of Market & Main in a converted Shipping Container next to Five Suns Brewing.” Grand opening this Friday, July 28th, “cocktails, martinis, whiskey flights”.

Thanks to everyone who sent word that Indian restaurant The Yellow Chilli is coming to downtown Walnut Creek where Sultan’s Kebab used to be. According to a sign in the window, they have locations in Danville and Livermore. Check out their Danville menu here.

Park ‘N’ Shop, Concord
Uji Time Dessert, featuring taiyaki (fish-shaped cake) soft serve ice cream opened last year at the Park ‘N’ Shop shopping center in Concord. Featuring flavors like matcha, black sesame and ube, I quite enjoyed the flavors and being able to pick out toppings and the taiyaki filling. Nice to enjoy on a hot summer day! 🍨
Downtown Pleasant Hill Shopping Center
Tracy-based Morgan Territory Brewing opened last month at Downtown Pleasant Hill Shopping Center. Check out their beer selection here. According to their Facebook page, outside food is permitted and kids and pets are welcome!
