Ecco, which has been at Broadway Plaza since before the remodel, is closing at the end of the year. Right now, quite a few shoes were only 10% off, which is actually worse than their usual sales, so it might be worth checking back later for better discounts. Check out their online selection here.

After a multi-year wait, furniture make Herman Miller finally opened a showroom at Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek. I think I tried sitting in every single chair in the showroom and they are all super comfortable. As expected, really beautiful furniture overall. Check out their online showroom here.

Well, that was fast. Thanks to everyone who sent word that less than one year opening at Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, Pinstripes has closed. The first month they were open, I bowled with my family at half-off and had a great time. Their San Mateo location remains open. Check out this location here.

Due to a minor kitchen fire, Original Joe’s in Walnut Creek is temporarily closed. Thankfully, everyone is safe with no injuries. We are grateful to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District for their quick response and containment. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to reopening as quickly as possible and will share updates as they become available.
