I was passing by Macy’s in downtown Walnut Creek when I noticed a Benefit Brow Bar right inside Macy’s on the first floor. They offer a free brow arch on your birthday which sounds like a great deal.
Nearby eyebrow salons include 2 i Bar stores within walking distance in Broadway Plaza, and as well as Lashfully, which recently opened in the older part of downtown Walnut Creek.
Spotted in downtown Walnut Creek on Bonanza St. note the huge office buildings in the background. I love the styling of this house, the details are amazing.
Last week I noted how the women’s sportswear store Title 9 was relocating around the corner on Mt. Diablo Blvd. and it turns out Men’s Wearhouse, located right next door, is going to take over this space from Title 9.

Before the Habit Burger Grill opened in downtown Walnut Creek, which I think is great, I probably went most often to the Counter, another downtown Walnut Creek burger restaurant. I know the new Corners Tavern has a burger on their menu I want to try. There is also George’s Giant Hamburger, Hubcaps, McCovey’s and must I say it, McDonalds. Obviously the variety ranges from nice sit-down to fast food.
Lafayette has Chow and Tao (Flipper’s burgers are served there). If I missed any please let me know and I’ll add it in.
So for the Friday question of the day, what’s your favorite burger restaurant? I guess this could be split into two parts. The burger itself, and the overall atmosphere.
