A new salon called Caroline’s Salon offering various services has opened in La Fiesta Square in downtown Lafayette next to the Lesley Evers boutique.

It’s been a few months since vandals smashed in the front doors of Tiffany’s in downtown Walnut Creek but the new doors have finally been installed and they look great. I did notice two small concrete pillars on each side as you can see in the photo below but I’m not sure whether they were there before or were added for extra security.

Back in September I noted that eyebrow threading salon iBar was moving from their Broadway Plaza location to the Mercer apartment complex on N. California Blvd. and they are now open. In fact both locations are open although iBar in Broadway Plaza will be closing at the end of January. Check out photos of the inside below…

In January I noted that construction of the La Soie Bridal Building at the corner of N. Broadway and Cypress had begun and it looks to be almost complete
Thanks to a reader for sending word and photo that Tiffany’s in Walnut Creek is finally putting up a new door that was smashed in back in September.
A couple of weeks ago I noted that the fashion accessories store Bracchiale would be relocating within Broadway Plaza and they are now open. Be aware that this section of Broadway Plaza looks like it will be closing in January so this is a short-lived move.
The women’s fashion boutique Alina B is leaving Broadway Plaza by January and is looking for a new location under 1000 square feet so if anyone knows a spot for them please contact them. Their Facebook page is here. Also, everything in their store is currently 20% off.

Thanks to a reader for sending word that Wells Fargo has closed at the corner of Mt. Diablo Blvd. and N. Broadway located diagonally across from Nordstrom in downtown Walnut Creek.
1499 N. Main St. is the closest location:
Back in August I noted that Victoria’s Secret was moving a few stores down in Broadway Plaza and the move is complete. They are now open in the former Bath & Body Works location. This location is significantly smaller than their previous location but keep in mind this side of Broadway Plaza will eventually be demolished in a couple of years so they may reopen in a larger store after the Broadway Plaza remodel has finished.
