Last month we learned that ice cream shop Milky Flakes would be coming to downtown Walnut Creek, and they have now opened. In addition to soft scoops which interestingly, is in containers that automatically rotate every so often, they also offer a Korean shaved ice cream dish called Bingsu, as well as soft serve in Hokkaido milk and matcha flavors. I enjoyed the Hokkaido milk soft serve, with freeze dried strawberries, seen below.
