Last August we learned that the frozen yogurt shop Tutti Frutti closed in Danville Square where Trader Joe’s is located on Railroad Ave. and now a new poke restaurant called Kanpai Poke will be opening in this location. Is anyone noticing a trend?

8:00am – 10:00am | FreeOn the First Sunday of every month, automotive enthusiasts gather in the parking lots of the Blackhawk Automotive Museum to share their vehicles and admire the other fabulous classics, exotics, rods and anything else with wheels and a motor. There is no fee for Cars & Coffee. Come when you want, leave when you want, but know that early arrivals do get the parking space they prefer. Also, the Museum opens at 9am on Cars & Coffee Sundays.

The bakery cafe A Sweet Affair has closed in Danville on Hartz Ave. however their Walnut Creek locations remain open.
Danville Hotel, Danville
Last year we learned that Sonoma-based Basque Boulangerie Cafe would be opening a new location in the historic Danville Hotel on Hartz Ave. and they have now opened. According to an employee the baked goods are delivered from their Sonoma location every morning. I tried the blueberry cake and it was delicious.
