This week we learned about a handcrafted American-made goods shop opening in Broadway Plaza called Makers Market. That has me wondering what people make around here as a side business or hobby. I recently signed up at a makerspace called Techshop in San Francisco and have been busy learning and using laser cutters, 3D printers, wood and metal working machines and even welding.
