Friday Question of the Day – Are More Restaurants Closing Lately?

A reader asks:

Can you or readers provide insight as to the closing of numerous restaurants around town?  Here’s the list my friends and I have accumulated 3 big ones [+ Ottavio] so far:

Pasta Pomodoro
Elephant Bar
Tahoe Joe’s
Ottavio

Just curious.  Some others have closed with others springing up in their location but these large locations look like they may be vacant awhile.
