I noticed a public notice of application to sell alcoholic beverages on the We Olive window in Walnut Creek and it turns out they plan on offering wine tasting in addition to selling olive oil. The wine tasting section will be located in the back of the store.

A couple of weeks ago I noted that OC Watch Company would be opening soon in downtown Walnut Creek on Cypress St, and they have now opened. They offer luxury, pre-owned watches such as Rolex, Panerai and more. Check out their current inventory here.

DETAILS: Total length of tour is about 1 mile, with four stops along the way. Meet at the fountain at Broadway Plaza. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Please register in advance so tour guides can have enough materials on-hand.

Adib’s Persian Rug Company is moving from their prime downtown Walnut Creek location to 1424 S. Main St. across from Kaiser Hospital on October 1st. The new location is where Clarissa Bridal used to be, next to The Pacific Bay Coffee Company. Adib’s had been at their N. Main location for 16 years but apparently rents kept rising so they decided to move. I finally checked out the inside and it’s HUGE, especially the ceilings. I wonder what will end up there.
