Fights Galore in Downtown Walnut Creek Last Night

Walnut Creek Police were kept busy with a couple of huge fights last night.

The first fight happened at the Dudum’s 1515 Lounge on N. Main St.:

Crime: Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Penal Code 245

Location: 1515 North Main Street, Walnut Creek

Suspect: Arryan Moradkhani
26 year old male
Resident of Danville

On 11/27/11 at approximately 12:43 a.m., officers on foot patrol found a man bleeding from the head and face in front of 1515 Lounge. The subject said he had been hit in the face with a glass during a fight inside the bar. Officers located the suspect nearby and placed him under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon.

The victim was treated by paramedics for serious lacerations to his face. The suspect was also treated for cuts to his hands before being booked into County Jail in Martinez on $30,000 bail.

The second incident happened at Vice Ultra Lounge at 1251 Arroyo Way:

Crime: Battery/Penal Code section 242
Fighting in Public/Penal Code section 415

Location: 1251 Arroyo Way, Walnut Creek (VICE Lounge)

Suspect: Steven Enriquez-Wyatt
21 year old male
Resident of Bay Point

On 11/27/11 at approximately 1:39 a.m., Walnut Creek Police Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting a fight involving 30 people in front of VICE Lounge. Some callers reported one person was stabbed. Officers arrived and found a chaotic scene in the area along Arroyo from Broadway to Civic. Since the club was also closing for the night a large number of bar patrons were also in the area.

Officers located one subject named Steven Enriquez-Wyatt with multiple lacerations on his arms. Witnesses reported seeing Enriquez-Wyatt assaulting a female during a large melee. Officers identified the female victim who wanted to place Enriquez-Wyatt under citizen’s arrest for assault. It was determined Enriquez-Wyatt received his injuries when his arm went threw a window during the fight. He was transported to county hospital in Martinez for treatment before being booked into county jail on $3,000 bail.

Police interviewed another subject that showed up in a local emergency room with multiple lacerations. The injuries may have also been the result of broken glass or possibly some type of assault.

Several subjects involved in this incident fled as the police arrived. Many people contacted at the scene were uncooperative with police. Anyone who witnessed the fight or was a victim is encouraged to contact the Walnut Creek Police Department.
