Thanks to a reader for sending word that a new gluten-free bakery/cafe called Life is Sweet is opening where Pascal’s used to be in Danville. In addition to “breakfast, lunch and baked fresh daily pastry items” they will also offer wedding and custom cakes. According to a sign in the window the owners of Pascal’s are retiring after 8 years in business.

Life is Sweet is a dedicated gluten free bakery and café located in charming downtown Danville, California. San Ramon Valley High School graduate and Bay Area native Julie Krause, attended the California Cullinary Academy in San Francisco, and immediately went to work in a small local bakery specializing in wedding and custom cakes. After 9 years of perfecting her skills, she returns to Danville to fulfill her life long dream of owning her own Bakery.
Together we bring you Life is Sweet Bakery and Cafe, serving gluten free breakfast, lunch, and assorted baked goods. In addition we have wedding and custom cakes, all of which are also Gluten free.
