Specializing in American classics with a modern twist and an expansive American selection of craft beer and small-batch whiskeys, Eureka! opens in Concord in the Willow Shopping Center on Monday, September 7. The all-American restaurant offers guests a unique dining experience complete with 40 American craft beers on tap, extensive selection of small-batch whiskeys, and regional wines in a contemporary yet rustic atmosphere that is perfect for guests of all ages. Eureka! provides the surrounding community with a trendy casual place to dine, drink, and socialize while enjoying live music and special events throughout the week.

“We wanted to create a place where you can grab one of your favorite American craft beers with your friends, enjoy a meal with your family, or even bring the kids for a night out. You’ll find beer geeks, professionals, families, and guests of all ages,” says Justin Nedelman, Co-CEO of Eureka! Restaurant Group.

Located in the recently renovated Willow Shopping Center, Eureka!’s wine country aesthetic design is bringing in white brick walls, chevron patterns throughout, and sliding glass nana doors that lead to an al fresco dining experience in the expansive patio. The 4,000 square foot restaurant seats 170 guests and is comprised of eclectic seating options including extra large booths, high top tables, two community tables, and paneling that incorporates handcrafted wood retrieved from historic American barns, factories, and whiskey distilleries.

Each dish is thoughtfully prepared to showcase quality ingredients, locally sourced when possible. The restaurant specializes in American classics with a modern twist with its diverse selection of appetizers, signature plates which includes all-natural, Angus chuck burgers, innovative salads, and delectable desserts. Menu highlights include the Golden AleMussels featuring jalapeño bacon stock, crispy pancetta, golden ale beer, and petit herbs; Lollipop Corndogs that are served with a spicy porter mustard; the Cowboy Burger with shoestring onion rings, bacon, cheddar, house made beer barbecue sauce served with signature handcut Kennebec potato fries; a Slow-Roasted Beet Salad with toasted walnuts, apple, arugula, orange sections and watermelon pop rocks; and Butterscotch Rum Pudding featuring house made whipped cream, caramel sauce, and sprinkled sea salt.

 

The scratch kitchen-driven restaurant features weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Delectable offerings include Huevos Rancheros with bison steak chili, fried eggs, ranchero sauce, black beans, Jack and cheddar cheese, avocado, and sour cream; Creole Benedict featuring fried green tomato, Virginia ham, Creole mustard hollandaise, breakfast potatoes; Brunch Ham & Cheese topped with a fried egg, served with Jack cheese, Virginia ham, Alfredo sauce, and Texas toast; and Bananas Foster Crunchy French Toast topped with pecans. To complement the mouthwatering brunch and menu options, Eureka! serves Mimosas and Bloody Marys on the weekends for $5 and an extensive craft beer and cocktail selection.

The beverage program at Eureka! revolves around the restaurant’s commitment to serving all-American, small-batch whiskeys, and specialty cocktails, curated by small and locally owned artisans ensuring a premium product that is highly sought after.  Signature cocktails include classic recipes like the house Old Fashioned, made the way your grand pappy drank it with Old Overholt Rye Whiskey, bitters, fresh orange zest and a block of ice; and the Penicillin with an American smoked whiskey, fresh ginger, hand squeezed lemon juice, and clover honey. Contemporary creations like the Moscow Mule featuring Ascendant Spirits American Star vodka, house made ginger lime syrup, and citrus; and Rosemary’s Ruby Red with gin, rosemary, grapefruit, and citrus offer guests modern cocktails with quality ingredients. Eureka! features 40 specialty craft beers, two wines on tap, accompanied by a selection of America’s best small-batch whiskey. Additionally, a special off-menu selection features various hard-to-get and strictly allocated whiskeys like Pappy Van Winkle, Four Roses small-batch limited edition, and offerings from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection available to the most discerning whiskey drinkers.

Eureka! is located on 1975 Diamond Blvd Concord, CA 94520. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Sunday.
